Cardamom Syrup

Liven up cocktails like the Moroccan Night with a splash of cardamom spice.


2 cups granulated sugar

2 cups of water

6 cracked black cardamom pods (alternatively, you may substitute three drops of black cardamom essential oil)

 

Simmer all ingredients in a small saucepan over medium heat until sugar is dissolved. Let cool to room temperature and fine strain into a clean glass bottle. Cover and keep refrigerated for up to 2 months.
