Tijuana Trick

Sunny Los Angeles gets some south-of-the-border inspiration in this bright and citrusy reposado cocktail.

 

2 oz. reposado tequila
3/4 oz. fresh orange juice
3/4 oz. fresh lemon juice
1/2 oz. simple syrup (1:1)
1/2 oz. St. Germain liqueur
3/4 oz. fresh egg whites (pasteurized if you like)
Ice cubes
Tools: shaker, strainer
Glass: Old Fashioned
Garnish: wide orange peel

In a shaker, combine all ingredients except ice cubes and dry shake for 5 seconds. Add ice to tin and shake for additional 10 seconds. Strain over fresh ice cubes into an Old Fashioned glass and garnish.
