The Bishop’s Wife

With its dark cherry flavors and splash of chocolaty doppelbock beer, this decadent cocktail is like sipping on a liquid slice of Black Forest cake.

1 1/2 oz. chilled dark rum

2 Tbsp. cherry preserves
4 oz. chilled doppelbock (check out “Double the Fun” from our March/April 2009 issue for recommendations)
Tools: muddler
Glass: Old Fashioned
Garnish: lime wedge

Muddle the cherry preserves and rum in an Old Fashioned glass. Top with the doppelbock, stir and garnish.
