Campari and apple cider make an unexpected—and delicious—match in this cocktail from Brooklyn-based bartender Martim Smith-Mattsson.

 

1 oz. Campari

3/4 oz. gin

1 oz. apple cider

1/2 oz. lemon juice

2 dashes peach bitters

Tonic water

Ice cubes

Tools: barspoon

Glass: Collins

Garnish: lime wedge and orange peel

 

Combine all ingredients in an ice-filled Collins glass, stir and garnish.
