Saloon Man's Sour Cocktail

Maple syrup and spiced rum make this Sour a perfect fall and winter cocktail. It’s important to use a high-quality sloe gin in this recipe—try Plymouth.

1 1/2 oz. Sailor Jerry Spiced Rum
3/4 oz. sloe gin
3/4 oz. fresh lime juice
1/4 oz. maple syrup
2 dashes Peychaud’s bitters
1 pinch salt
Tools: shaker, strainer
Glass: Old Fashioned
Garnish: lime wedge

Combine ingredients with ice in a shaker. Shake to chill, then strain over fresh ice into glass. Garnish.
