Ruby Tuesday

Named in honor of the Rolling Stones song, this cocktail contrasts bold rye whiskey and herbal Bénédictine with bright lemon juice and fresh muddled cherries.


1 ½ oz. rye whiskey
1 oz. Bénédictine
¾ oz. fresh lemon juice
½ oz. simple syrup
5 ripe black cherries
Ice cubes
Tools: muddler, shaker, strainer
Glass: cocktail
Garnish: lemon twist

In the shaker base muddle the cherries. Add remaining ingredients and shake with ice. Strain into a chilled glass and garnish.
