Combining fresh strawberries, ginger and vodka, this cocktail from North Carolina bartender Wesley Wolfe was created to celebrate World Cocktail Day.
2 oz. vodka
2 fresh strawberries
1/2 oz. fresh ginger, roughly chopped
1/2 oz. fresh lime juice
1/2 oz. simple syrup (1:1)
Ice cubes
Tools: muddler, shaker, strainer
Glass: Old Fashioned
Garnish: lime wheel
In a shaker, muddle strawberries and ginger. Add the remaining ingredients and shake with ice. Strain into an ice-filled glass and garnish.
