San Diego bartender Eric Johnson flavors his summery smash with Peruvian grape spirit, orgeat and fresh fruit.
2 oz. pisco
1/2 oz. orgeat
1/4 of a lemon, cut into 3 wedges
2 fresh strawberries, hulled and quartered
Tools: muddler, shaker, strainer
Garnish: fresh lemon wheel and strawberry slice
Muddle all ingredients and shake with ice cubes. Strain into a cracked ice-filled glass and garnish.
