Cherry tomatoes, red grapes and white rum meet in this market-fresh version of the classic Daiquiri.
1 3/4 oz. white rum 3 cherry tomatoes 3-4 red seedless grapes 3/4 oz. fresh lime juice 3/4 oz. thyme simple syrup (see below) Ice cubes Tools: muddler, shaker, strainer Glass: bucket Garnish: lime wheel
Muddle cherry tomatoes with grapes in the base of a shaker. Add remaining ingredients and shake with ice cubes. Strain over fresh ice into a glass and garnish.
For the thyme simple syrup: In a small saucepan, combine 1/2 cup of granulated sugar with 1/2 cup of water and 4 fresh sprigs of thyme over medium heat and stir until sugar is dissolved. Remove from heat and let cool. Strain into a bottle and store refrigerated for up to 2 weeks.
