Oaxaca Mule

Mezcal is the kicker in this earthy take on the classic Moscow Mule.
 
1 1/2 oz. mezcal (At Esquire, it’s made with Del Maguey Vida)
1/2 oz. fresh lime juice
2 oz. ginger beer
Glass: copper mug or highball

 

Place ice cubes in a copper mug or highball glass. Add mezcal and lime juice, then top with ginger beer.
