Marmaduke

Aquavit and St. Germain mingle with grapefruit juice and a pinch of salt in this bright and tangy refresher.

1 1/2 oz. aquavit
1/2 oz. St. Germain
2 oz. grapefruit juice (fresh, if possible)
3/4 oz. brown sugar syrup (1:1)
Ice cubes
Tools: shaker, strainer
Glass: Collins
Garnish: pinch of salt (see note) and a lime wedge

Combine all ingredients in a shaker with ice. Shake and strain into an ice-filled Collins glass and garnish by sprinkling salt over the ice and placing the lime wedge on the rim of the glass.

Note: Jimmy uses pumpernickel salt, but feel free to substitute any variety you like.
