Mexico’s Damiana liqueur and fresh pineapple juice put a fresh twist on the Margarita. Austin’s Nate Wales fancies up the salted rim with flecks of dried Nopal cactus and lemongrass.
1 1/2 oz. blanco tequila 3/4 oz. Damiana 3/4 oz. fresh pineapple juice 3/4 oz. fresh lime juice 1/4 oz. agave nectar 1 oz. filtered water Ice cubes Tools: shaker, strainer Glass: rocks Garnish: salted rim
Shake all ingredients with ice and strain over fresh ice cubes into a salt-rimmed rocks glass.
