1/2 oz. homemade tonic syrup
1 1/2 oz. hearty, full-flavored gin
Soda water
Lime wedge
Ice cubes
Glass: double rocks
Garnish: lime twist, or drop the lime wedge in the drink
Pour the tonic syrup and gin into an ice-filled glass, top with soda water and a squeeze of lime and garnish.
