Thought to have been named for a short-lived stage production, this Prohibition-era cocktail combines two simple ingredients to scrumptious effect.
1/2 oz. rum
1/2 oz. Italian vermouth
Tools: shaker, strainer
Garnish: lemon or lime peel
Combine ingredients and shake with ice to chill. Strain into a chilled glass and garnish.
