For a richer, more rustic flavor, Chris Elford advises against using an overly filtered IPA for this cocktail.
¾ oz. blanco tequila
¾ oz. fresh lime juice
¾ oz. Campari
½ oz. Demerara syrup (1:1)
1 oz. chilled IPA
Tools: shaker, strainer, barspoon
Garnish: grapefruit peel
Combine all ingredients (except beer) in a shaker and fill with ice. Shake to chill, strain into an ice-filled glass. Add the IPA, stir to combine and garnish.
