Whoa, Nelly! We love the spicy ginger kick in this mezcal- and Port-fueled twist on the classic Mule.
1 1/2 oz. mezcal 3/4 oz. ruby Port 3/4 oz. fresh lime juice 1/2 oz. agave nectar Ginger beer Tools: shaker, strainer Glass: Collins Garnish: 2 drops of Angostura bitters
Combine all ingredients, except ginger beer and shake vigorously with ice cubes for 10 seconds. Strain into an ice-filled Collins glass, top with ginger beer and garnish. Carlo Splendorini, Bourbon Steak, Miami
