Brooklynite

brooklynite cocktail

A Daiquiri variation with Jamaican rum and honey syrup in place of the more traditional simple syrup.

A little-known Daiquiri adaptation listed in both the Bartender’s Guide by Trader Vic and The Stork Club Bar Book, this recipe specifies Jamaican rum and swaps in honey syrup for the more traditional simple syrup sweetness.

Ingredients

  • Tools:shaker, strainer, fine strainer
  • Glass:cocktail
  • Garnish:lime wedge

Preparation

Combine all ingredients and shake with ice to chill. Fine-strain into a chilled glass and garnish.

*If using fresh honey, stir contents to dilute the honey before adding ice.
