The classic banana daiquiri gets a gingery boost in this adaptation from Seattle bartender, Evan Martin.
1 3/4 oz. Jamaican rum
2/3 oz. Giffard Banane du Bresil
1/4 oz. ginger syrup (1:1 fresh ginger juice and granulated sugar)
3/4 oz. fresh lime juice
Scotch, to rinse glass
Tools: shaker, strainer
Garnish: lime wheel
Combine all ingredients and shake with ice. Strain into a chilled glass rinsed with Scotch and garnish.
