Avua de Vida

Fresh muddled berries add a summery splash to this cachaça-spiked lowball.


2 oz. cachaça
1 oz. simple syrup (1:1)
¾ oz. fresh lemon juice
4 fresh raspberries
4 fresh blackberries
Tools: shaker, strainer, muddler, fine strainer
Glass: rocks

Garnish: 2 fresh raspberries and 2 fresh blueberries skewered on a pick and a sprig of fresh mint


In a shaker, muddle the fresh berries with the simple syrup. Add remaining ingredients and shake with ice. Fine-strain into an ice-filled glass and garnish.
